Everything you need to know before you order
Answers on design, materials, samples, pricing, production and shipping — organized so you can jump straight to what matters to you.
01 — Products & Design
What we make, and how design support works
We manufacture rigid gift boxes, folding cartons, corrugated mailer boxes, display boxes, kraft and laminated paper bags, and custom inserts — covering apparel, beauty, electronics, food and lifestyle brands.
Yes. Our in-house designers offer free structural and artwork support — from a rough idea or reference image to print-ready files, refined together until you’re happy with it.
We accept AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, CDR and high-resolution JPG or PNG files. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are preferred for the sharpest print quality.
CMYK builds color from four layered inks (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) and suits full-color photography or gradients. Pantone (PMS) uses pre-mixed, numbered ink formulas for exact, consistent brand colors.
Yes. We provide 2D and 3D digital proofs for every order, and we recommend a physical sample for larger production runs.
02 — Materials & Finishes
Structures, papers and premium finishing options
Folding cartons, rigid setup boxes, magnetic closure boxes, drawer-style boxes, book-style (clamshell) boxes, lid-and-base boxes, and corrugated mailer or display boxes.
We build rigid boxes from 1200–1800gsm greyboard, wrapped in art paper, kraft paper, textured paper, velvet or leatherette. Interiors can use EVA foam, plastic trays, satin or sponge inserts.
Standard retail bags typically use 250–300gsm paper; heavy-duty or luxury bags use 300gsm+ paper, often reinforced with a bottom board.
Foil stamping (gold, silver, holographic), embossing and debossing, spot UV coating, soft-touch and gloss lamination, and screen-printed spot color.
Yes. FSC-eligible papers, recyclable kraft and corrugated cardboard, and soy-based inks are available as standard options across most of our packaging lines.
03 — Customization & Inserts
Making the packaging fit your product exactly
Yes. Every box is built to your dimensions, structural style and printing preferences — we’ll also help match your brand colors and logo placement.
Yes. We design and produce custom inserts in EVA foam, blister plastic, cardboard or molded pulp, engineered to your product’s exact shape.
Twisted paper handles, flat paper handles, cotton rope, satin ribbon, die-cut handles and PP rope — matched or contrasted with your bag color.
Standard paper isn’t waterproof, but we can apply a water-resistant coating or laminate a thin PE/PLA layer for extra protection.
04 — Samples & Quality Control
How we protect your order before it scales
Yes, always. We offer digital 2D/3D proofs plus a physical sample for your approval — bulk production never begins until you’ve signed off.
Digital proofs are typically ready within 24 hours. Physical samples are produced in 3–5 working days and shipped via express, arriving in 3–10 working days.
Every order passes multi-stage inspection: in-process checks during printing and die-cutting, then a full pre-shipment QC review before packing.
Send photos or video of the issue and our QC team will verify it within 24 hours. If the defect is on our end, we’ll reproduce the affected quantity free of charge or issue a refund/credit.
05 — Pricing & MOQ
What drives cost, and how small you can start
Our standard MOQ starts at 1,000 pieces per design. Smaller pilot runs can sometimes be arranged — ask your account manager.
Pricing depends on box style, material, dimensions, print complexity, finishing options and order quantity. Send us your specs for an itemized quote within 24 hours.
Standard lead times don’t add cost. Rush production is available but may carry an additional fee.

06 — Production & Lead Time
How long it takes, and where it's made
Samples take 3–5 working days. Mass production typically takes 7–12 working days after sample approval and deposit, extending to 13–20 days for complex orders.
Serica Packaging’s manufacturing facility is equipped with automated printing lines and semi-automated assembly for rigid and folding boxes.

Getting a quote, paying, and managing changes
